Travis Sullivan Performances this February!

February is upon us! Where did January go?  There’s some crazy stuff going on in the world these days, so we need music more than ever! Hope you can make it out to these upcoming shows.

Sean Nowell Quartet plus 8

Wednesday, February 8, 7:30 -10:00pm I’ll be performing with the Sean Nowell Quartet at the legendary Small’s Jazz Club in NYC. Also featuring Sean Nowell, tenor sax;  Art Hirahara, piano; Michael O’Brien, bass; Joe Abba, drums. If you cant make it to the show, they do a live webcast so be sure to tune in.  $20 admission.

Travis Sullivan Quartet

Thursday, February, 16, 6pm – 8pm:: The McBone Jazz Series presents the Travis Sullivan Quartet at Silvana (NYC).  2 sets of modern jazz that will feature the music of Travis Sullivan, Tears for Fears, and The Police.  Featuring Travis Sullivan, alto sax; Oscar Perez, piano; Sam Minaie, bass; Brian Fishler, drums, and special guest Diana Kazakova, vocals.  The McBone Jazz Series is a weekly jazz series curated by trombonist Matt McDonald, and his will be Sullivan’s debut at both the series and Silvana. NO COVER!

John Ray Septet

Sunday, February 19, 7pm -10pm: The John Ray Septet performs at  Treme in Islip, NY.  Featuring: Irv Grossman, trumpet; Travis Sullivan, alto saxophone; John Restrepo, tenor saxophone; Pat Hall, trombone; Mike Capobianco, piano; John Ray, bass; Chris Covais, drums.  This hard-boppin’ group plays the music of Woody Shaw, Lee Morgan, and Wayne Shorter, to name a few, and also features some original music as well.  Going to be a blast! NO COVER!
